Enterprise Academies International is an international charity alleviating poverty by building sustainable income generating skills centres (Enterprise Academies) in developing nations. Our first centre has been built in Kafogo, Sierra Leone. These skills centres prepare young people for gainful work and also facilitate the emergence of relevant local income generating enterprises. The combination of these provisions helps to restore hope and maintain community stability.

Land is provided exclusively for this charitable purpose by the community that have agreed to host an EAI project. The produce of this land helps fund the respective Enterprise Academy training centre.
The Enterprise Academy caters for young people 16 yrs and above. The local chiefs and national Sierra Leone government recognise Enterprise Academies initiatives as sustainable projects that can bring skills, gainful employment and help alleviate poverty in their needy communities.
Our aim is to replicate the successful Enterprise Academy model in other areas of poverty in developing economies.
“We help to transform lives through vocational training and by providing start-up resources for social enterprises.”David Edgecumbe, Chair of Trustees, EAI
